With fewer opportunities to connect in homes, how can you take the time to ensure you start engaging homeowners from the moment they ask for repairs?
Managing a home repair waiting list isn't one size fits all. It needs to work for your organization and work for those requesting assistance. How do you decide what to collect on an application? How do you identify who to help next? How big is too big when it comes to a waiting list? How often should you revisit your application process? You'll receive a basic framework for decision-making when it comes to developing and/or managing your home repair application and waiting list. We'll review real-life home repair program application examples from ReFrame Association members. Lastly, we'll explore how to leverage data from a waiting list for fundraising and marketing to bring in more donations and volunteer resources for your home repair program.
This session will walk through the application and selection process based on content from ReFrame Association's best practice guide. Ashley Weekly (Rebuild Upstate) and Adam Sanderson (Renovation Alliance) will share examples of how these best practices play out in their processes.
Melanie Campbell is the Zoom host, session moderator, and facilitator.
